Hi, In term of stock wood quality, the AB3 is a bit better fitting and finish (and more comfortable imho) than Savage. However, the trigger on Savage is much better than AB3. I hope this helps. Cheers.

Jason, The would for Savage has been vastly improved from a few years back. I have owned Savage rifles since a kid and have two recent wood 6.5Creedmoor and 300 Win Mag Savage rifles and the wood is good to go. Out of the box accuracy will surprise you as well providing you are a;ready a decent shooter. Cheers and stay safe!
