Hi, This firearm comes with an arm brace and classified as a handgun/pistol, as such you do not need a Class III license to own or purchase this product. It is treated the same as a handgun in the eye of the law. I hope this helps.

Edward, no Sir. It does not have a Shoulder Stock but a Brace which classifies it as a standard Handgun/Pistol even with the shorter than 16 inch barrel. In short, it's a regular handgun as configured. Cheers and stay safe!
