"The AR-556 is the first firearm designed and built in our Mayodan, North Carolina facility" I have the 18" Ruger 556 MPR and I love it, its durable reliable, and is easy on the eyes. I dont yet have the pistol version but I'm sure that its quality as well.

Ruger manufacturers most of the components on their rifles the Magazine included with this is a Magpul Pmag, which is also made in the USA. The operations, shipping and manufacturing portion of Magpul is based in Cheyenne, while its headquarters is located in Austin, Texas
