Hi, So far SCCY scx-2 9mm has a relatively decent reputation (few post here and there about issues but generally positive), which make me think that there might be a particular issue with the very gun you have. I do believe that SCCY scx-2 has a good warranty and I recommend you sending complaints to them to see if it is possible to receive a refund or new pistol. This is their customer service # (386-322-6336). If you no longer want to fire this pistol and want to look at something else, I recommend M&P Shield EZ...good recoil, easy to rack slide, and good safety features. I hope this helps.

Derek, Contact SCCY Customer Service for a service RMA to have the pistol fixed or replaced at (386-322-6336).
