Yes ... FYI the any revolver chambered for the .357 magnum will safely shoot the .38 special. The .357 was designed from the .38 when law enforcement want a more powerful round but didn't really want a much bigger gun. The is just a longer .38 made to hold just a bit more powder making more pressure. They both can use the same bullets just at different speeds. Your new gun will stay tighter and last long on a diet of .38s saving the .357 for hunting, defense or just blowing up the occasional water jug.
