Stetson, It is in my opinion Sir. The SS version normally carries a higher value retention and overall durability. Not to say the non stainless version won't last with proper maintenance and care. Cheers and stay safe!

If you want stainless it is well worth the price difference. If you do not care if it is stainless or not, it is not worth the price difference.

Stetson, It is all up to you. If you live in the south or high humidity area the stainless steel model will fare much better cosmetically. Obviously it is worth the up charge because people are paying the difference.
