Hi,
I am not sure as to which shotgun did you purchase or intend to purchase but it would be helpful if you can provide specific model/make. Additionally, Buds has a list of CA approved shotgun (https://www.budsgunshop.com/mobile/categories.php?cat=1858). Please refer to this and CA roster when making a purchase of CA compliant shotgun. Benjamin, The CA roster is very seldom added to. More firearms are removed then added. More restrictive requirements that are prohibitive to manufacturers.
