yes it will fit but in my opinion it is not a safe way to carry in any concealed carry method the trigger should be covered especially on guns with no manual safety

Yes it will fit indeed on your XDM ELITE9mm, as others have stated if you plan on carrying hot (round in the chamber) you should definitely have a trigger guard, this product you are looking at is just a clip to connect it to your belt or waste line, technaclip does however make trigger guard meant to be used in conjunction with this clip, unfortunately buds does not currently carry the trigger guard bit if you google "TRIGGER GUARD FOR SPRINGFIELD XD(M) .9 .40 .45" it will bring up results on where that additional product can be purchased.
