William, any of the 110gr loads would work but they are out of stock at most retailers. 38 Special standard or +P loads will be milder recoiling more so. https://shopcorbon.com/SD357110-20

William, The Ruger GP100 feel will have recoil of a baby kitten. It is built like a tank and handle the blast of a 357 mag as well as any wheel gun. Plus you should find the GP100 grip more comfy at handling the recoil of the 357 mag round. If you want no recoil don't use 357 mags just shoot 38 special no problem. And save some money.
