My rifle arrived with sling attachments not properly aligned to the weapon. One is perfect, the other is crooked. Are the attachments screwed in. If so can I align them properly without damaging the weapon? Thank you.

Joseph, these should be screwed in Sir.  I would speak with Mossberg Customer Service and see what they say about the mis alignment so as not to take a chance at damaging the rifle at (800) 363-3555.
