I unfortunately have very limited experience with 1911 and 2011s I hope to get one some day but honestly right now it's not in the budget. If I were you I'd check out the honest outlaw on YouTube he shoots a lot of 1911 and 2011 and is very honest in his reviews and he's not paid by the manufacturers https://youtu.be/92HP2CY4Y1o I'm sure there are plenty here on the buds community that do have experience and will be happy to share with you but I'd check out Chris's Chanel in the mean time. Have a good one
RIA makes fine weapons. Do not see any reason this one should be any different.
Frank, I own (2) RIA 10mm 1911's. Both the 5 inch and 6 inch barreled High Capacity Models. Other than coming well, well, well oiled, they have excellent fit, finish and have been reliable. Both are extremely accurate with tight slide to frame fit. Rock Island Armory has excellent quality especially given the price point at least in my personal experience. Cheers and stay safe!
A great choice for those preferring single action pistols. Also a fine platform for building a custom competition piece while limiting cost. Government & match models are solid & weighty, limiting recoil. Double-stack magazine models are better for 2-handed shooting.
