Searching for "CR123" on Energizers website brings up the following info: "Replacement for: 5018LC, CR123, CR123A, CR17345, EL123", so yes these are the same/equivalent to CR123A. CR123/CR123A are naming convention differences for the same battery type. The C stands for Lithium, R for round and 123 is one two-thirds. So any 123 battery is 1 2/3 of an A cell battery. Some brands will choose to put an a/A on the end to represent the A cell.
