They are surplus guns so it is possible. I would use Chat now to be certain. Chat on Monday, it is always full on Sunday.
yes they are in cosmoline not as bad as some but still will need some elbow grease to get them clean
Julius, cosmoline is light but will still need a good crevasse , nook and cranny clean up. Cheers and stay safe!
I would reckon so. However, the Mosin Nagant is one of the simplest, easiest bolt actions to take apart and clean. Fun fact is that the bayonet actually functions as the screw driver to take it apart. Floor plate can be taken out simply by squeezing it. A mauser this aint, but a nice piece of history to own for sure.
Almost certainly. You should definitely expect cosmoline if you're ever thinking of ordering a surplus gun. Luckily Mosin Nagants have that legendary Russian engineering, so they're very simple to take apart and clean.
Julius, I'm sure it will have some preservative lubricant on this rifle. And that is exactly what you want. The preserved condition of the firearm is well worth the clean up and inspection time.
Just got mines Friday it does have cosmoline but rifle was in excellent shape very happy with it
