Thanks for the feed back.  My dad bought the rifle in Belgium while he was in the Air Force.  The only number on it is 69368  M9.  I was told the "M9" meant the year of manufacture.  He retired in 1963 so it was bought in 1949 or 1959.  It's a BAR and I'm assuming bought in 1959.  Thanks again.
