Hi, I do not believe that this is CA Compliant. Here's the list of S&W semi-auto handgun that is CA Compliant according to Buds (https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php/exclusive/ca/manu/31/caliber/10000837). CA model features a chamber indicator, unlike this one. I hope this helps.
