The telescoping or folding stock only comes into play if it is also a semi-automatic. You can have a magazine fed shotgun with a folding stock as long as it is not also a semi-automatic. You can not have both mag fed and semi-automatic in California. Hi,
Oddly, this gun is CA Compliant according to Buds: (https://www.budsgunshop.com/mobile/categories.php?cat=1858&filter_id=1986). I would try to ask Buds representative to be 100% sure (they make mistake a lot when listing firearms) but you seem to be correct that this gun is CA Compliant as it is not semi auto and lack banned features. Try the blue "Chat Now" function in the bottom right of the page to see if you can connect to Buds. I hope this helps.

Sounds like you have your ducks in a row.  Your best source of information would be a local FFL.  Their license depends on them knowing the laws. Looks like a fun shotgun.
