Hi, Yes, this promag magazine will work on your S&W AR. That being said, I recommend against buying promag as they have very bad track record when come to reliability of their magazine. Magpul or Lancer mags are much better. (https://www.budsgunshop.com/mobile/product/714016837/) I hope this helps.
