Brian, You will have no problem. With a proper grip on the pistol you will not have any problem. And yes you can get an extended magazine with a grip extension on it. If you have problems with this 3.3" barrel compact firearm you will have a problem with any compact or subcompact pistol and should maybe consider a full size handgun.
