Get your ID for the state you live in. If you order a firearm online it must ship to a FFL for the transfer paperwork to be done. Keep it legal. Many less headaches.
Hi, I think in your case, there won't be much trouble as both Texas and Oklahoma have gun friendly laws. I'm not a lawyer so please don't take this as legal advice. Your best bet is to ask Buds representative as they are the one making decision to or not to sell to you and they know more about laws than me. If you order from Buds, then the firearm will be ship to your FFL in Texas where they would run background check on you using your Oklahoma ID. There should not an issue. Again, talk to Buds representative, they are the one who make final decision on whether to sell or not and they know this much better than I do. Contact Buds customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday or use the blue "Chat Now" button in the bottom right of the page. I hope this helps.
Caleb, online firearms retailers will only ship to an FFL Dealer in your State of Residence. Long Guns can be purchased over State lines but not handguns. In order to get a handgun shipped to a local FFL you need to get a local State ID. Cheers and stay safe!
