Hi Joseph, I am also from Illinois. Yes, you can Iegally purchase a firearm from Buds and have it shipped to your FFL in IL (Buds will only ship to FFL). After you purchase a firearm from Buds, they will ask you to send a copy of your FOID through email or fax (your choice). Then you need to contact your FFL about your purchase so that they can send a copy of their FFL license to Buds (send a copy of your FOID to your FFL too). The firearm will be ship to your FFL where they will run a background check on you and start a 72 hour waiting period. Then you can get your gun. Noted that Buds have a list of FFL on file, use this (https://www.budsgunshop.com/ffl.php) to search for your FFL. Cheers.
