Safe Action is just Glock's trademark way of describing their trigger and drop safety mechanisms. This and every other Glock is striker fired which is not really adequately described by single or double action as there is no hammer.

Hi, Glock, like other strike fire pistols, uses strike fire triggers...which is a class of trigger in its own right. It is very much somewhere between a single DAO or SAO category. That being said, the ATF considers Glocks to be DAO. As for the SAFE ACTION System, it is a fully automatic safety system of glock. I hope this helps.
