Elise, If you are in the market for a 9 mm handgun get whatever you can that you are comfortable with. If your talking about the M&P with the Apex barrel it is a great gun with a high quality match grade barrel.

we could help you more if we knew what gun as I never heard of a apex 9mm gun apex makes aftermarket barres to fit guns
