Got reply from James G. that this conv. kit will fit a Glock 17 gen 2 but need more info on how the fit works since the CAA kit looks the same but installs with ridges on the slide needing a pic. rail. I like the CCU model as he sez, as it installs using the receiver rails instead. The higher price is because it comes with a longer barrel instead of using the regular pistol one. I regret being a novice in explaining these ?'s, but I have yet to understand the fit of this CAA kit
