Jeff, for the price & reliability of the gun, you won't do much better for range practice if you're looking for affordability.

Jeff, no issues with the Walther. It is well built, reliable and easy to take down for maintenance. Excellent review here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv78uoFdrnw

its a great gun but be aware that almost all 22lr handguns are ammo picky so if you have any issues try another brand of ammo or just get CCI mini mag 22lr ammo as it works great with everything
