So I have 2 handguns on layaway and wish to transfer my down deposit amount ($120) to my other handgun as I no longer wish to purchase that one. Is this possible? Can I avoid losing my money in any way?

You'd have to contact Bud's customer service for a definite answer.  I thought their policy stated layaway deposits are not refundable or transferable.
