It actually comes with a muzzle break rather then a flash hider, muzzle breaks reduce muzzle rise and lower felt recoil to help you make quicker more accurate follow up shots, but do nothing to stop flash or fireballs while shooting in dark or low light situations. Here is a copy and paste from mossbergs website "Night Train 2 & 3 models have suppressor-ready threaded barrels with a removable SilencerCo Saker Trifecta muzzlebrake"(this rifle model number 27924 is a night train model) The threading is standard 5/8-24 threads. Hunter, it is removable Sir. The 22" fluted barrel is threaded and equipped with a SilencerCo Saker Trifecta muzzle brake. Cheers and stay safe!
