George, both the .17 HMR and .22 Long Rifle caliber have 20.5" Medium Contour barrels.

Hi George, Both barrels are 20.5" and come in sporter contour which is a tapered barrel. Barrels come in different amounts of taper. A sporter taper is usually the lightest barrel a manufacturer makes. So, this is closer to medium-light contour barrels. I hope this helps.

If you're looking for HEAVY barrels, this isn't for you. I have this and it is definitely nit a heavy barrel setup. I love mine, I use mine for small game hunting here in California. It was my pleasure to assist you.
