Scott, thanks for clarifying Sir. You actually have the absolute right to refuse transfer if anything is awry with a supposed brand new firearm. Buds will likely direct you to S&W since they ask everyone to inspect firearms before transfer. I hope Buds does right by you in any event. Cheers and I hope you get it sorted out.
