Yes, but it does come with one moon clip. Originally sold with two, so you may actually get both.
The cylinder is cut for moon clip to be used by users that prefer the extra speed of loading/unloading but does not affect tradition methods of loading firing such as speed loaders, stick loaders or single cartridge loading.
It will work without the moon clips but it will not eject the empties. You will have to knock them out with a rod individually. Just buy more moon clips.
First response was incorrect. It will eject empties as normal without using moon clips. I do this to all my S&W revolvers. Moon clips just speed up loading.
