Michael, the reason is that slugs should absolutely not be used with Full Chokes. You can remove the X-Factor extended turkey choke tube and fire slugs just fine. This shotgun has a 3" chamber and can fire both 3 inch and 2 and 3/4 inch shells. Cheers and stay safe!
