No 22Mag is larger than a . 22 LR. You are going to get a burst case if you get it to shoot and a jam if you don't. The only guns you can fire both in are revolvers that you change the cylinder or a single shot where you change the entire barrel/chamber assembly. Some .22 mags can fire 22LR (though its not recommended) but the reverse is not true the .22 mag has a larger diameter and a longer lenght. Michael, No. 22 mag will not even fit in the magazine besides not being able to chamber. Have you seen a 22 lr round compared to a 22 mag round?
