It defaults to include shipping insurance, which insures against lost, stolen or damaged items, there is a box that is checked as a default to include the insurance, down below that there is a box that says decline insurance cost $0.00, click that box then complete check out

Jason, the Free Fed Ex Ship Option is only free for $199 or more purchase price. Buds does not make this clear. Cheers and stay safe!
