John, I have heard from other members that if magazine capacity is the ONLY state restriction that some Buds personnel have offered to remove/replace magazines. I would contact Buds Customer Service to see whether or not they will at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
Hi, For state restriction, you can ask Buds to change the 17rd mag to 10rd mag if they have it available. If not, Buds will ship your gun without mag. Contact Buds customer service to arrange this. Customer Service: 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. Or use the blue "Chat Now" button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday. Cheers,
I had asked Buds about a similar issue back when I lived in MD, which also has a 10rd capacity limit. As long as the mag is the only thing making the item not compliant, they will only remove the mags and send the firearm without them, they do not alter the current mags nor replace with lower capacity ones.
Andrew is correct on this one theyll remove the magazine only if that's the only thing that makes it non compliant. On the item page there is a tab that says "buds high capacity magazine removal service" press that button to use it. If you are looking to just buy magazine thinking you can get them pinned buds does not do that, you woul need to find the state compliant magazine.
John, These are all questions for BUDs. Use the Chat Now button during regular business hours. I never heard of BUDs providing the magazine pinning service. The will pull standard capacity magazines that are not commie state compliant.
