YES! Will FIT Shield .45 ACP. This is pretty big. According to manufacture, this fits: AMT Hardballer, Browning Hi Power, Colt Commander and Government, Kimber Custom II and Custom Target II, Para-Ordnance P12, P13, P14, P14LDA, P15, P16LDA and P18LDA, S&W 1911, Springfield Armory 1911A1. It says it fits a 1911A1 the dimensions/size difference is pretty drastic between the 2 Smith & Wesson M&P 45 M2.0 Shield Length: 6.8 in Height: 5.3 in Width: 0.95in Weight: 20.5 oz Barrel: 3.3 in Walther Colt 1911 A1 Length: 8.7 in Height: 5.5 in Width: 1.4 in Weight: 32 oz Barrel: 5 in So it might go into the holster, but it won't have solid retention, if you were to get in an entangled fight the firearm would likely fall out, even tripping over something it could come out of this holster.
