Just ordered new Remington 700 Long Range in 6.5 creedmoor, looking for scope for a maximum shot of 500 yards. I bought more gun than needed, but hopefully I can grow with the gun during retirement sometime next year.

Highly recommend PRIMARY ARMS scope. Go check their website. Their scope is super budget-friendly (high quality) and they will automatically recommend the right ring mount.  For 500 yards 12X or 14X is more than enough. Look for 4 - 12X or 4 -14X scope. I hope this helps!
