Kelly, highly likely not. Cheers and stay safe!
Typically no FFL required for ammo shipping, some states and city's have restrictions, California does require ammo to go to an ffl. Nut most do not Here's a summary of SOME of the other states/city's where you might have restrictions https://www.theamericanmarksman.com/State-Restrictions.html
no in some states ( Illinois )you may need to send Buds a copy of your FOID (firearms owners ID) card and in CA the ammo has to be shipped to a FFL. in most states ammo is shipped to your residence
Not unless you live in California. A few states will require a FOID card to have ammo shipped to your house, all you have to do if you don't live in a free state is email Bud's a copy of your FOID. If you live in NJ, you can have rifle & shotgun ammo shipped to your house, but you need a FID card to have handgun ammo shipped. Is your head spinning yet?
Kelly, I state license or permit of some type is required to purchase and posses ammunition in IL, MA, NJ, CT and D.C. Ammunition must be shipped to an FFL in CA and NY. Any other state it can be shipped directly to your home with no special license or permit.
