As a 44 owner,I feel like I can give a fair opinion of it. My 44 has run reliably with bulk ammo. Even the 36gr Federal and Winchester stuff others say causes problems. It runs fine with everything I've tried. Frankly, I've had more problems with the quality of bulk 22 ammo than the 44 itself. One of the common complaints/criticisms of the 44 I can say was true of mine... It shot high out of the box. Glock was kind enough to send me a different front sight which made all the difference. I really enjoy shooting the thing, and if something were to fail/break I know Glock stands behind their products and take care of it. I still like my TX22 more, but the 44 is a keeper.

I don't own a G44 nor would I all of the youtube reviews I've watched on them have been ridled with problems, and these are reviews by "Glock guys". I would also recommend the Tauraus TX22.
