Patrick, you don't need to as they are verified by Buds. I do however out of courtesy to keep my FFL in the loop to expect and be on the lookout for my packages. Cheers and stay safe!
I personally, gave my FFL person a heads up of what's coming and where it's coming from. Then when my pistol shipped I provided them the tracking number. Just to be safe.
YOU DON'T NEED TO, but I do it just to give my FFL person a heads up and to be nice about. Regardless, Buds will notify them. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the responses
Patrick, although it says not necessary, you should contact your FFL just to be sure he is doing transfers amid the pandemic that is happening. It is also nice to give him a heads up that you have a package coming and from whom.
