In most states you do not. In California ammo does have to be sent to an ffl, this can also vary by county as some counties in NY state and Illinois require ammo to be shipped to an ffl as well. State specific laws can be found here. https://www.budsgunshop.com/state_restrictions.php

Depends on your state laws, CHECK HERE ( budsgunshop.com/state_restrictions.php ). If your state is not listed, then they're no need to conduct sale through FFL. Unless you live in NYS, CA, or IL, you don't need an FFL. I hope this helps!
