The Ruger 9mm PC Carbine comes with a magwell installed that accepts all SR Series and Security 9 magazines of any capacity; the extra magwell is for Glock mags. Do you already have Ruger American pistol series mags? If you do order the American magwell from Ruger. If you do not, get either SR or Security mags and the will fit right in and function perfectly. I use both SR & Security mags in my 9mm PC Carbine.
