Harold, no Sir. The .22 caliber Beretta M9 is a replica of the original 9mm model, with the same controls, operation and take-down. There is not currently a Stainless Steel version.

YES, the main different from normal 92f 9mm model is a captured recoil spring with a plastic guide rod on the M9 22lr. The decocker is also plastic too. Apart from those two, other parts are metal just like the original M9. I hope this helps.
