The new production run Colt King Cobra has a lot of problems right now. The ejector rod on some models sticks. Lightly sanding down the tip of the ejector rod fixes this and it is something you can do yourself if you run into the issue. Machining marks have been found on some (purely cosmetic but disappointing given the price). One review mentioned cylinder shake, but it was minimal and within tolerance. The finish is not perfect and there are some cosmetic inconsistencies on the cobras. After gunnit closely examined some marketing pictures posted online people assume Colt generally is cutting corners on quality control. DUE TO THESE problems, S&W M66 CM is a much better purchase for now. If you wait until next year, maybe colt will sort out the problems. S&W M66 CM also has a lighter trigger pull and more pleasant for me to shoot. I hope this helps
Hickok 45 has a great review of the SW https://youtu.be/S-UF6CpThdk And hammer striker has a great review of the Colt https://youtu.be/R9_dqgqxvA0 I'd personally go with the SW but both companies make great firearms
