Yes sir. This rifle is chambered for and has a barrel stamped .556 so you CAN absolutely shoot both 556 and 223 from this rifle. .556 is just a higher pressure Nato/military version of a 223. Because a 556 is rated for higher pressure you can always shoot 223 out of a 556, but not the other way around, you can't or at least shouldn't shoot 556 from a 223
Trey, yes Sir. This barrel is stamped 5.56 Nato and has zero issues firing both 5.56 or the lower pressure civilian .223 ammunition. Cheers and stay safe!
YES, all 5.56 chamber guns (including this rifle) will take BOTH 223 and 556. But, not all 223 guns are rated for 5.56. I hope this helps!
Trey, yes sir, if it is chambered for 5.56, you can also shoot 223 out of it. Just don't shoot 5.56 in a gun rated for 223.
