Purchased a supposedly new Glock and when I disassembled to do the first cleaning before using I found rings around the outside of the barrel. Could this be possible on a NEW Glock?

Keith, Normal. The Glock smile develops on all Glock barrels. No issue. Just lightly lube the area.
