Im from New Jersey, and was wondering if the Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 9mm 5" FDE, Manual Thumb Safety, 17+1 is legal in NJ. I know NJ only allows us to have 10 rds in the mag; however, if I were to purchase a 10rd mag for this gun, would I be able to purchase this gun and shoot it at the range in NJ? If so what would be the compatible magazine I can purchase for this hand gun to make it compliant with NJ standards?

Antonio, yes, this would be legal with the 10rd Magazines.  I have heard from other members that if magazine capacity is the ONLY state restriction that some Buds personnel have offered to remove/replace magazines. I would contact Buds Customer Service to see whether or not they will at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.

Yes sir you can use the "high capacity magazine removal service after adding it to your cart and going to check out you can request to have the 16 rd magazines removed.
