Gregg, I used to own an FN 5.7 and have shot my brothers Ruger 5.7 and the Ruger felt slightly better in my hand but, the FN was definitely more accurate. Overall, Ruger did an excellent job particually considering the cost difference. You will not be disappointed in the Ruger. Cheers and stay safe!

Overall its been well recieved I've not seen or heard any complaints of them having any issues, or defects in anyway, the only complaints I've heard from people are about how costly the ammo is but the Ruger 57 had been a solid performer and is preferred by most over FN's version
