Rob, yes Sir. This Ruger uses an integral bedding block system that removes any barrel contact from the stock for a true free floated barrel for much improved accuracy. Cheers and stay safe!
Rob, The barrel is free floated. The Ruger bedding system is embedded in the stock, lurking beneath the front receiver ring, is Ruger's Power Bedding system. This consists of four opposing angled aluminum bedding blocks that fit into corresponding grooves in the receiver.
