Kurt, they both will need to have their Actions lightly lubricated Sir. The Emporer Arms MXP12 would be my choice between the two. My brother has had the MXP12 for just over a year and he has had no issues and it patterns as well as my Mossberg. I have shot his a few times and was impressed especially for the price point. You can find many review video's on you tube. Cheers and stay safe!

Kurt, Emperor Arms have been around making shotguns for over 80 years. I own 3. They accept many Remington 870 accessories. Decent Customer Service and Quality Control. I'd buy a shotgun while they are available. You snooze you may lose on both.
