1 x Smith & Wesson 10199 M&P 22 Compact Single .22 LR (LR) 3.5" Threaded Barrel 10+1 Blac (10199)

I am new to the 22 lr caliber, and I understand that there are many varieties of the ammo.

For use in this S&W M&P 22 Compact - WHAT TYPE OF AMMO SHOULD I BE LLOKING FOR TO WORK BEST IN THIS SEMI-AUTO PISTOL?

ARE THERE TYPES OF 22lr I SHOULD AVOID as well?

Matt, I highly recommend CCI and Eley Brands for reliability and accuracy. They will cost a few pennies more but are the standard by which 22lr is judged Sir. Just experiment to find what is most accurate/reliable in your pistol. Cheers and stay safe!

Matt, Every rim fire pistol is different. Some are better at eating all ammo then others. The S&W M&P 22 lr pistol should run everything. The consensus most reliably cycling 22 lr ammo in semi auto pistols is CCI mini mags. Try different brands to see what works for your firearm.
