Yes you can purchase this rifle in Rhode Island, RI is still a relatively free state, and the only requirements for long gun owner ship (including AR's) To buy a long gun, you must: Be 18 or older; Provide ID; and Complete a Purchase of a Shotgun or Rifle Application Form.
